Young Mind Matters
Mental Illness has been a topic least spoken about. Its time to bring out the truth of major health and wellness concerns people are facing in the 21st century. According to World Health Organization, 7.5% Indians suffer from major or minor mental disorders that require expert intervention.
I had the opportunity to attend Namrata’s session in recent past and it was a session worth attending. Namrata comes across as a highly knowledgeable individual in her subject with a fine touch of facilitation skills. She was able to connect the complex theories with practical applications seamlessly and made the participants visualize the true meaning of Mind-Body connect. She is a thorough professional and found to be very well prepared for the session. She connects with the participants from their perspective and help participants understand the concept with clarity. Her kinesthetic style of imparting knowledge is of high standards, that makes people’s time worth spent. Calm and composed yet very assertive in her approach she has what it takes to be there! I would recommend everyone to experience Namrata’s sessions and lectures. Over and above this, she comes across as a humble and self-assured individual who knows her area of work. I wish Namrata all the successes she aspires for and looking forward to interact more with her in future.
I had left my job in a foreign bank after three and a half years of working there owing to harassment issues and I didn’t know what to do with my life. I went to Namrata for counselling, because, apart from not knowing what I wanted to pursue in life, I had also not been in the right state of mind for very long. I knew her from before and hence it was easier for me to talk to her. Only within two sessions she had me sorted (at least for the career aspect) and the best part is she would always check in on me to see if I am working towards the career goal I want to achieve and if I am feeling okay even otherwise or not. I am forever grateful to her for all her guidance because not only has she helped me overcome this bad phase of my life, but has taught me enough to be able to deal with any bad situation that arises in life.

It gives me great joy to write a testimonial for Namrata, for the session she conducted on the topic “Mind body connect” at Medtronic office yesterday, 22nd July. The sessions was pretty interesting & engrossing, though it was short which involved active participation from almost all the participants & credit goes to Namrata for making every mind & body participate in the session. Despite being from healthcare background most of us hardly knew that the suppressed or not properly expressed emotions are sometimes a result of the pain & agony one suffers & it was really surprising for us to know how the body expresses the emotions of the mind. Of course after a long week, the 5 minutes ‘Ribbon dance’ brought a lot of hearty smiles on every face there. It was truly a session filled with learning & fun and I now know how to express myself in the form of a body movement.
“I got an opportunity to attend a workshop on ‘Mind and Body Connect’, conducted by Dr. Namrata Jain in our office. The program was very energetic & refreshing. Many concepts as to how body responds to the state of mind got cleared. Namrata was very effective in facilitating the workshop and addressed all our queries promptly. Would love to attend any such sessions in future again.”
